keldyn how did you take the sunset shots without the sun looking crappy and overpowering the rest of the colours in the image?

Now that's a very good point Spyder. I guess the lighting just happened to be right... I did not do use any special settings to take those shots. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

aaron: Set your camera to use long shutter and set the ISO speed to 400. This will allow as much light as possible to get the shot you want. It is important you keep the camera VERY steady. A tripod is a must for night shots and do NOT use the flash.

had to compress it down a good bit, looks a lot better when you view it shrunk down... pretty cool though (Y)

username you bought the a70 right? did you use the photostitch prog with that picture? how many pictures was the original?

the more you turned to the right, the more the sun must have been in the pic eh? the reflection off of stuff is pretty bright white. i found that when the auto white balance was having a problem, that if i pointed the camera up at the sky, then brought it down to the target, the white balance would auto adjust perfectly

yeah, the A70, i used Canons photostitch, awesome program just started using it today, it was 6 pictures

man i MUST get a larger CF card, i am hurting

i hear you about the the lighting, my sister knows a lot about photography (college art major or something) she says its really tough to get decent pictures when the light goes through trees withough losing the color.. or something

i have a 128 mb one in mine right now.. says i can take 138 pics at full res on fine (not superfine). 128mb is perfect :)

    • I gave up on browser ad-blocking extensions a few years ago, replaced them with Adguard. Not perfect but overhaul is a nice app that does the job on both Windows and Android with the respective versions.

    • "Of course the easiest solution is to switch to uBlock Origin Lite if you want to remain on Chrome, as it is MV3-based, but from our experience, uBO Lite does not seem to be as good as the original non-Lite version" In my experience uBlock Origin Lite does the job for normal everday home users. When they kill that we get to watch Firefox and Brave get a boost in user market share.
    • Block by DNS ad blocker! I dare you! I will even layer unlock Origin, on top of my internal DNS, if I need to and I don’t even block ads today (I really should but this type of behavior makes me angry). I suppose I could also just be lazy, and add the flags myself, back to each release (it wouldn’t be that difficult).
    • Wonder what MPs have ties to these privacy/verification/data harvesting companies that are going to step in this time. Last time under the Tories half the cabinet had fingers in the pies, heck even the PM and his wife at the time was working for silicon valley, probably made a fortune.
