DANG...i wanna go to ireland

what happened to kitty's leg? :(

Heh, I hate this place and want to leave. It is a nice looking place but there's about 20 days a year that you can go to see it without getting soaked. Donegal (the north west) would be a nice place to visit I suppose but living in (or near, as I do) isn't so great.

We don't really know what happened to Kitty's leg (that's her name, imaginative I kow). One night she came in with it hanging on by some skin so we rushed her to the vet where the wound was stitched up, but the leg couldn't be reattached. She was fine a week later and I doubt she'd know what to do with a 4th leg now. You wouldn't believe how good she still is at climbing, although she hasn't been as adventurous since the accident.

its too bad dragging him out of his car thru the window and beating him senseless wouldn't solve anything eh?

btw..i've been thinking about this for a while... this thread has evolved since the first few pages into a general interest digital camera specs/questions/pictures thread. could the thread use a name change?

Oh trust me. I wanted to. Giving him the finger had little effect either...

As for the thread title, no problemo. Do you have any suggestions? I am sure I can come up with something otherwise.

lol no i dont actually. i mean, it doesn't need to be changed, just something i was thinking about. the other thing i thought of is that people may recognize the thread now for what it is by the title..if we change it, it could be misplaced or forgotten by people who have been following it?

i dunno.. lol sorry i've just been thinking out loud these last 2 posts

"Neowin Digital Photo Gallery Thread" or something like that seems appropriate.

monthly editions can't hurt either. this thread does get kinda long.

hey, theres an idea! like a monthly desktop kind of thing, except to showcase nifty photos or whatnot. this thread has been somewhat popular?

It is popular. I watch all the posts regularelly but I dont have a Digicam to post sum pics!

lol ok ...errr sure? Alright... I'll leave it for now then until I can think of an appropriate name. Kaneda's suggestion ain't half bad.

Impulfusion: Yes. They are very fast. They are designed especially for high speed chases.

yeah -- that black commodore ss a few pages back looked a beauty of a car, especially with the revamped front end. i love cars that blend aggressive style with intuitive design. hey Keldyn, think you could grab one from the nearest darkened alley and put it on a canada-bound boat for me? i'll make it worth your while. :D

at any rate, i'm getting my digicam in like 10 days, so i'll have pics to post in this thread or future threads like it soon enough...

Some pics of flowers in my garden (summer 2003) with my digicam.

Wish they sold more Australian muscle cars over here like the Holdens... or I wish they were a little more affordable.

Cool that you guys drive on the same side of the road as us :D

Here are some pictures I have taken with my Olympus (4 megapixel) D-40 which has been replaced (I think) by the 5.0 megapixel C-50.

I like it so far but I find myself wanting to control more factors such as aperture to take time lapse images and I want to be able to use a polarizing filter. Someday I want to buy a Canon EOS.

Kitty's a cool name for a kitty - we had a Miss Kitty, one of my cousins has a Kitty Boy, and several friends have a Kitty in their families. Cats adapt really well to the loss of a leg...they can still run and jump and play like the guys with 4 legs. I'm always amazed at what they can do.

It seems like the place you live is never quite as cool as the place in the picture. I think that's funny for some reason..

Give Kitty a kiss for me and keep the pictures coming!

"Keldyn buys a digital camera" is fine. It's what started this thread and it's easy to remember..."whatshisface buys a digital camera"...works for me!

More pictures? Oh well, if you insist :D

This is my other cat, called Katie. She's the daughter of the 3 legged one and is similarly unimpressed by digital cameras. She looks sort of angry and maybe a bit high here but I think she was just abit annoyed at this idiot pointing handheld devices at her. I had another one, a large black tom called Peewee but he disappeared :(

    • When I was a teen, I actually believed that the government used to be always be the bad guy. However as an adult, someone who has actually seen the Law work (though not perfect). I now think everyone cries a river. In this specific case, the so called freedom has consequences to society. Anyone who has seen how child are indeed affected, and I don't mean only extreme things like getting drugs or hate crimen , but no one can deny society as a whole has gone down a rabbit hole due to exesive use of internet. Before anyone calls out that it's the parents responsibility. Yes that's true, but the reality your family/kids might be good people. There are 99% out there who are not and have been brain dead by many things on the internet.
