lol, no, on a dock in the bay, i caught them with bait (minnows or chicken leftovers) on a string, bring the string up really slow to the surface and scoop the crab up with a net, the crabs stay on the bait eating while you bring it up, you can use cages too but this is a little more fun. That was the first time i ever caught a spider crab, pretty neat looking. saw a tun of horshoe crabs at this one place just coming up to the shore but didnt have the camera for that one. That blue crab was a pretty big one, the things are very fighsty too, i got pinched by a little one. we just caught and let go that day though, these ones didn?t get the old bay and steamer.
