[Windows 7] Duplicate Startup Items

Recommended Posts

Can someone please help me resolve duplicate startup Items, namely Rainmeter? Below is a screen capture of the trouble I'm having...

I've tried a number of different things including uninstalling/reinstalling Rainmeter, removing/readding startup group both for all users and for single user, reg clean with CCleaner... Nothing seems to work! Is this a known Windows 7 Build 7137 issue? I also noticed once that OneNote 2007 Screen Clipper and Launcher was loading twice also, I have since seemed to fix that but still unable to fix Rainmeter. Also, once nothing seemed to be launching from the Startup Group even though it was clearly present and available in the Start Menu "All Programs" Perhaps this is a known issue with Rainmeter... ? However, I must inform that initially (the first time I installed Rain Meter" it seemed to work fine (No Duplicates) Also I have tried a number of Startup Managers as well including "Autoruns v9.5" and "Startup Control Panel" and CCleaner. I'm at a loss as what next to try. I've also done a repair install of Visual Studio 2008 Express in hopes of recovering a possible missing shared dll. (Nothing) Are all these efforts in vein? Is upgrading to the next Windows 7 build my only viable option (if even an option at all; things still not working)?

Common no one has any responses or replys to this? No one else is experiencing this, does no one else use Rainmeter in Windows 7?

This is a video refresh problem. Pass the mouse cursor over the duplicated icon and it should dissapear. I have this problem with Vobsub green arrow too.

Moving mouse over icon does nothing to fix this issue; icon remains there. Any other thoughts?

I've already mentioned that in my origional post. And while I can remove the program in Autoruns, it removes it from both location redering the program unable to load on startup. Somehow one link affects both links.
