It was a joke... The lifespan of the console isn't necessarily the lifespan of the users individual console. Mine just RROD'd and I thought I would say it as a joke. But you're one of the lucky ones, she lasted 3 1/2 years. I've been a 360 gamer since Nov 2006, two consoles died on me since, the second time i knew better than to post about it.
