Whoa, GT5, pack up your five hundred million cars where people won't even drive a fraction of it, this is where the action is (Y)

Certainly sounds a nice addition, depending on the outcome of this and GT5 I may well end up getting a 360 for it :)

I just had a nerdgasm just by looking at the differences between Forza2 and Forza3 :) GT5 can indeed pack its 5 billions cars and gtfo.

I's one hell of an update, I think they are using a different graphics engine now.

All the upgrades above are AFTER increasing FPS from 30 to 60 and increasing resolution from 720p to 1080p

Forza 2 ran at 60FPS...

Same console? Xbox360? Wow!

If I got the RROD while using Forza2 at 30fps, I don't know what to expect for using Forza3 at 60fps... Red Fried and Toasted Xbox360 Console (RFATXC)!?

I wasn't overly impressed with Forza 2's graphics, but for Forza 3, those are niiiiiiiice.

Yeah, Forza 2 never looked the best but it was good in terms of features because it had things like damage, part upgrades etc

@nacquatella : Engine etc will be different, Less resources but still a smooth game

Forza 2 ran 60FPS but no AA, only in replays did they use the AA, Forza 3 will be using 4xAA 60FPS in live gameplay.

This game has great potential and the features aren't lacking anyting, pure win win.

I would like to get this game, but my 360 is just too unreliable unfortunately to spend the money on any new games for it. :ermm:

Those shots look great.

you forgot 4x the texture size on cars.

and the uber high texture on terrain, and normal mapping on road surfcase and edges.

yeah, this game is above and beyond.

Should've combined this with the other Forza thread created by Boz. Like many have said, this game alone makes the X360 worth it. I'll probably end up giving in and purchasing a X360 the day this comes out :)

Looks damn nice. Specs are quite good too. Curious how good it runs when there's a dozen or more cars all on the same screen though. Definitely nice eye candy.

How is 1080p @ 60fps even possible? Is it just upscaled 720p?

Yes it is not 1080p native, it is upscaled from 720p but I doubt you can hardly tell a difference. :)

I must say that looks amazing despite the system its on.......I actually prefer those graphics over Crysis on Ultra High......and all running on the system specs of a X360.

The things that can be done when the developers don't have to worry about different hardware in their market. :(
