Forza 3: The most technologically advanced game ever built on 360?

So what you're saying is it's OK to purchase a console and not be able to play all the games developed on it without spending more on accessories? Is that really the Pandora's box you want to open upon console gaming?

"Oh, sorry Timmy, you cannot play Final Fantasy 18 because your parents could only afford the low-end console at Xmas. I'm sure we can convince them to sink another $100 into this 20 GB hard drive."

From what I can see if you shop at Best Buy like me...your only option is a Xbox Live starter pack, 60GB hard-drive, 12-month Live subscription for $109 :|

Dayum, that's sweet stuff. I don't care about full lock since it's useless and stupid for racing anyway, but that's a nice wheel. Even if it's a Porche wheel....

Yep..that's the wheel I've been waiting for, for a long time. It actually has manual shifter just like a real car. It's going to be sick.. If I could only find the whole setup with the chair cause driving this from a couch is not going to be comfortable. But I'm getting that one for sure.

Moot.Point. ;)

TDQ: Forza 2 on xbox 360 is better than GT5: Prologue.

Glad you agree with me darling. :D

i meant in a way where they released an 30 dollar demo(30 ****ing dollars)

not a "complete" game and they came out about 6-8 months apart

Yup, which is why I wouldn't pay for the damn thing. It was an uninspired tech demo.

looks good and more of a increase than i thought it would be.

to bad they did not put that effort into increasing the 'engine sounds' as that's the only part of the game that needs alot of work.

because Ferrari F40 dont sound like it does in real life nor does alot of the muscle cars etc... as the ones that do sound decent are to weak sounding. i want REAL engine sounds!!! , if they fixed that the Forza series would be perfect. and for the record i think Forza series is MUCH better than the GT series on Playstation and im saying this as a former big fan of the GT series but once Forza 1 on XBox came along, the GT serious became obsolete.

they need to get sound samples from the actual cars there using because it aint like they dont have the budget to do it.

because at the end of the day the game would be more immersive if it had better engine sounds more than messing around with getting better graphics.

p.s. for the record... Forza 2 is still THE reason i own my XBox360 console to this date because without that game (or Forza 3 for that matter ;) ) i would still not have a XBox360.

Who cares? They wanted the cheaper model, they get the cheaper features... Just get an Hard Drive and you have a Pro X360...

I guess the people with the arcade models care...... yeah they went the cheaper option and I do believe that nowdays there is a warning on the box stating that some games may not include full features. That said, it's still pretty sucky and one thing you have to think that Sony did right ensuring that ALL PS3's came with a hard drive, enabling devs to do allow all consumers the same experience no matter what SKU they bought.

The game does look pretty good though and could force me to buy another 360 when it comes out.

Forza does have actual engine sounds, and is known for having pretty much the best engine sounds currently.
