Lee
Hi all, I've got a Sony 32W4000 (secondary) and a Samsung PC monitor (primary), but the Sony TV has black areas like it's in letterbox mode. If I run a 1080p film through it, there's black areas top, bottom, left and right. Same with the Windows desktop. It's like it's only using some of the screen. The settings on the TV are full pixel and Wide mode (not zoomed, etc). My graphics card is x1950 Pro so I cannot install drivers on Windows 7 so they aren't available. My Samsung monitor is a lower res (1050), not sure if that affects anything. Thanks for anyone's input. :)
cpl183
almost the same here, but only at the top and bottom, left and right is fine. if it would be also at the left and right, i could zoom the picture with my nvidia driver. in the beta, the picture was fine. i hope they fix it in the final version. cpl183
somehow i cant edit my post, so i make a new one. the nvidia beta driver fixed the problem for me, sadly that won't help you with your ati card. it seems that the driver is the issue here, not windows 7.
