ozgeek
Hi all, you all say that Windows Media Player 12 can play MOV files now, right? It does for me but only for some files. I have a Olympus D-540 still camera (very old and battery-hungry but sill works). It have the ability to capture silent videos in MOV format. I have hundreds of those videos. When I play them in WMP12, I get an error saying it is unplayable, not a supported format. They play fine in Media Player Classic. Does WMP12 only support a certain form of MOV or all. I do have a proper DVD video camera and being recorded in VOB files, they play great in WMP12.
MikeChipshop Member Posted June 6, 2009 Member Share Posted June 6, 2009 The camera manufacturer is probably using a proprietary version of the .mov file format.
ajua
It would be nice to know all the supported profiles or formats that WMP12 and Win7 supports for QuickTime files.
