+Mystic MVC Posted June 6, 2009 MVC Share Posted June 6, 2009 In the last couple weeks my Play and Charge Kit refuses to act normal. I can leave it charging for 4-5 hours and it will say only two bars charged or sometimes show that it is fully charged but the light doesn't turn green. Sometimes I can leave it hooked up all week and it won't turn green. Any ideas on why the heck it is freaking out? I can't monitor how much battery is left if it doesn't give me the correct amount. Well how much do you play? I had to replace my near launch day controller batteries last fall. Sounds like the issue here. -Spenser

+Mystic MVC Posted June 6, 2009 Author MVC Share Posted June 6, 2009 when did you bought it? and which one are you talking about batterie or PnC kit. The PnC kits (I have two) were both bought over a year ago. I'll continue testing with the other charging cord and see if that helps.
Sikh
Drain the batterys all the way to the end. Then leave them charging overnight. If you wake up and the light is STILL red, battery packs are dead. Buy new ones. Ive had customers come in who have had faulty batterys after a year, and some not until 2-3 years. All depends on how much you use em / charge em/. If your batterys get low you plug in PnC and then leave it then your fine. But if you p[lug it in, see its charged after an hour and unplug it go on about playing etc(bad habit of some people) then your recharge cycles get fed up.
