AltecXP
I have a MacBook running OS X 10.5.7, and lately it has felt a bit slow. There is nothing in Activity monitor that is taking a lot of CPU, I/O or RAM, but it feels doggy for some reason. I have done the normally recommended stuff, Perm Repair(i know doesn't really do anything), Onyx, and XSlimmer. The machine is a Alum MacBook with 2.4GHz C2D, 4GB DDR3, and a 320GB 7200rpm HDD. Any ideas?
null_
I've heard a lot of reports of Mac OS X 10.5.7 making things generally slower overall, so it's not just you.

Let us know how it goes, I'm currently researching into the issue a bit further to see if I can find a more detailed solution should that not resolve the issue. sn00pie
I felt that too, so I installed and ran an app called Onyx. Feels a bit faster, especially the load ups :)
