hanko panko
Windows Backup fails and reports "Access is denied" with Error code 0x80070005. I am running build 7201 64bit and selected a network drive (ReadyNas) as destination. Sofar so good but when I run a backup it fails. I am in the Administrator Group, have full control and can manually copy all selected folders and files to the network drive without errors. I am not sure if the problem is related to this build, until now I have been using Vista to make backups. Any clues?

kimsland
Hi if you happen to have any Minidumps that you could attach to a new reply please do so The Minidumps are located in C:\Windows\Minidump folder, and can be "browsed" to in a new reply to this message, and then selecting "browse" located at the bottom of every reply window (obviously once within the reply post) Please attach at least 3 of the latest Minidumps (you can even zip them up, before attaching Or just attach the latest one ;)
liv3wire
Had same issue few weeks ago. Does your system drive have a "system volume information" folder that was created by another windows install? I suspect your system restore also wont let you make a manual check point?
hanko panko
I cannot find any Minidumps, no such folder but the properties of the SVI folder told me the current owner was unknown. I took ownership but am not sure what to do next... BTW, I can create restore points manually.
