Win 7/WMP12 Crossfade Bug

Recommended Posts

I'm curious how many others have noticed this bug.

Basicly to reproduce you turn on the WMP crossfader and set it to about 5 seconds and then play music. If you watch it crossfade it'll play the next song towards the end of the first one [like it should] but when it switches over to the new song it'll start counting from 0 seconds rather than 5 [remember, it's already played 5 seconds of that song].

If left long enough it'll eventually mean there is a lot of silence at the end of a track while the counter catches up with itself.

I'm using the public RC, has anyone else experienced this?

Yep, happens to me too. Also if I have video and music in a playlist and have crossfade on and shuffle, the playlist will stop before playing the video, I have to manually hit play again.

Yeah, I've had this issue as well unfortunately. Whats funny though is that it doesn't occur in Media Centre, well...for me at least.
