mokthraka
What type of game are you interested in? I can't really recommend any MMO without knowing if you enjoy the grinders, or the more open games etc. :D dont mind a small grind but I like open games where im not always forced to grind and some fun quests like in that game runes of magic there was a treasure hunt quest which was pretty cool I like crafting to
LOC Veteran Posted June 10, 2009 Veteran Share Posted June 10, 2009 Well then, here we go then. I'd recommend (in no particular order): Ether Saga Online Dungeon Runners (Diablo-esque dungeon crawler) Perfect World Shaiya World of Kung Fu ZU Online (though it has a ton of fetch quests) Just be aware, all of these games except Dungeon Runners are Korean imports, thus the translations are either bad or funny. If you can live with that, each game has it's merits. But, just remember, they are all cash shop games (except Dungeon Runners, which offers a $5 subscription) so eventually you'd either need to buy something from the cash shop, or search around towns for people selling CS items (at highly inflated prices lol). There are other games I could recommend, but those are pretty good ones to get started with. Free Realms is also good, and alot of the quests are "fun". LOC Veteran Posted June 11, 2009 Veteran Share Posted June 11, 2009 I agree mokthraka. There are plenty of GOOD and FREE MMO's out there. Sure you have to deal with lag sometimes, or an over saturated in-game market full of shops with morons (buahaha!) but overall, most of the high end F2P MMO's are certainly good games. It also depends on what you want to get out of said game to begin with. If you go in with a bad attitude like "omg F2P games suck, they can't compare with P2P games" or something similar, your gonna have a bad time in the game. But if you go in with a good attitude, you'll probably enjoy yourself much more. That being said, they are plenty of craptacular F2P games as well. It all depends on spit and polish among other things. :)

SMELTN
shouldn't get burn in on a LCD? That was really only an issue with CRT's

AgentGray
*small voice* aq.com NOT ADVERTISING...just...suggesting... It's not WoW or anything...but a bite sized MMO in flash with a large Free-to-play component that I personally think is pretty nifty.

Hey don't worry about it, I enjoy Adventure Quest Worlds also, I think it's amazing what they've done in a Flash based game like that. It's literally a flash based MMO in a browser. That's awesome. I would also pimp Utopia Kingdoms. Homepage It's a game by the guys who did NationStates, and it's rather good. I'd call it a city building simulator/something or other lol
