Windows 7 RTM information

Wouldn't 7777 make more sense? The final buld numbers are defined by the marketing department and using lucky 7's could be a minor marketing ploy.

Yes, 7777 would be great for marketing... but jumping over 400+ build numbers is perhaps a little much.

Let me rephrase that for you: "Windows will destroy Snow Leopard"

How is that? microsoft has 90% of the market, if apple loose any more they better shutdown

Also, is the aero diamond already in this build?

Silly man... there is no aero diamond in Windows 7 officially. You may get it installed via third party software from what I've read. The GUI in 7 is the final one you're going to see released, but with some newer icons.

It is certainly not unheard of from Microsoft.

Who says why are going to see new icons on RTM? Do we have any (well not official) but reliable at least, source? because as far as i am concerned what you see now is what you get.

As stated by another Neowin Member, the Engineering Team for Windows 7 replied to his question that implied that they were not done with some GUI... which leads us to believe that RTM will hold new icons. That's why we believe that there will be some nice new icons. :)
