Why don't you start it earlier and play until late, then everyone is happy and can join.

ohh do shut up, if you havnt got anything worth while saying then keep stum.

Ok then hows 8:30pm sound?

and no there will be no demo due to how the game works/multiplayer coding if your not sure on it then rent it

Personally i love the game, ive had it since Friday and so far ive clocked up over 320gamerpoints and also over 17 hours of gameplay, which for me is impressive

They better release a demo, with a Metacritic score of 66 it isn't even worth the gamble.

im sure the PC version will start appearing on the 'normal' sites in the coming days, as its being released on the PC in 9 days time

At least learn to spell properly. If you can't give a reason for your opinion, then to quote Eric Cartman, "Get the fudge out!"

That's better than having to wait for it to reset when you mess up, like in MotorStorm. If you crash, you sit there for 5 seconds each time watching your car/driver crash about in super-slo-mo. It's annoying.

thats because its an ARCADE game and not a simulator, plus if your crashing that much then learn to drive :p

Saw a review on a dutch gameshow yesterday and they weren't impressed, their main critics were that the game was over ambitious and while it has a huge map, the surroundings are all pretty bland and overall pretty much the same. Not trying to bash the game, but it doesn't look too good.

But that's not what this thread is about, so sorry for derailing. :p

I'm afraid you've got me a bit wrong. :p I only really hate the slow-motion in MotorStorm because they buggered up the way to implement it.

I think the "Most over-used, over hyped POS mechanic to embrace gaming" has to be moral choices. It works somewhat in Mass Effect, but that's about it. It's stupid as hell, like in inFAMOUS. Play as the good guy and get the good meter up to the top and all you get is some crappy lightning attack which is so bad Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw says "it'd be quicker to nipple-tweak them to death). And if you play evil, you get to shock your enemies "Emperor Palpatine style".

And coming in a close second in the "Most over-used, over hyped POS mechanic to embrace gaming" award is quick-time events. I rented Heavenly Sword from LoveFilm earlier this week, and I got to the first boss fight, and to finish him off you have to take his health down to almost all the way, and then you have to go through a series of quick-time events which have literally a half-a-second timing window. It took me four tries to finally do it. It's annoyingly bad; so bad that I actually sent Heavenly Sword back the day it came in the post (along with my other two rentals, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, and RACE Pro). :p
