Macbook touch

Hmm, as long as the keyboard gave some sort of feedback I think it could work. I know some people hate touch keyboards but the iPhone has one and I would never go back to a hardware keyboard now.

i dont think that typing stuff in is going to be its primary purpose, if it doesnt have a physical keyboard... the touch keyboard is there just-in-case, i think your meant to get a seperate keyboard if you plan on typing alot with it

one of the definite plusses is that the touch keyboard is entirely software , so you could have any button layout across it... kind of like that Optimus keyboard, but also kind of different...

imagine that every key on the keyboard is a shortcut key, for instance, that you can arrange just like icons and resize like windows, and that might be how the macbook touch gets its productivity from

i wouldn't mind a touch keyboard at all... you have to remember that this would be like atablet PC solution for those of us who do a lot with the pen and need portability. I would be writing a lot on it and on occasion when i do need to type i wouldn't mind having to kinda look down for the buttons instead of jsut feeling my way around.

I think this would really bring down the weight of the product which is a huge plus for people like me who run from class to class and have to take tons of notes and do tones of math proofs everywhere they go.

Looks great, hopefully a company will make a product the same as this (functionality-wise, not necessarily the design) - not Apple though, I wouldn't want to have to sell my house to afford one. :p
