The Great Big Sims 3 Thread.

Has anyone who plays the game noticed a lack of items? - I was going through some of the things buying items for my Sims and I noticed there wasn't really much there to buy. But already EA is selling extra content like hair styles and clothes and new items and textures.

I'm not a fan of these micro transaction shenanigans the shipping item collection seems less then what was included with earlier titles or at-least it doesn't include more content as you would expect it to being a bigger better sequel with more depth. Maybe I'm just not seeing the big picture but the game just feels like it needs more variety in its items. I bet at-least 20 expansions come out for this before it's EOL as-well.

I prefer the "buy each item individually" way, with the expansion packs they came with an awful lot of stuff I didn't care about, I might only want a new computer or something, not 3 new types of desks.

I like it. I haven't played the sims since the original and I find it to be mainly just a graphical improvement. It's still the Sims. What I've done so far is create myself and an evil twin who's plot is to take over the town.

  • 4 weeks later...

I got a promotion for my evil sim (I get one on average every 2 days, I picked some great traits), and this was the outfit the game assigned her.

What kind of Evil Sidekick is that supposed to be? It wouldn't even scare a kitten, it looks like somebody from a low budget kid's show on public access TV.
