omganinja
Anyone got their HP DV7 Touch Buttons (mute, volume, media and wifi) to work on RC? I had them working on my 7068 install but when i installed 7100 they are no longer working. Any help would be much appreciated.

That might work. All the drivers I've installed on Win7 are Vista's and have worked perfectly.
Yelreve
Strange, I have a DV5 and have never needed to use a driver for any OS e.g. XP, Vista, 7 or any linux. Maybe check for a firmware update though because there was recently one released for DV5 to fix some problems.

The buttons were not recognized in some builds but the driver was recognized and downloaded through Windows Update. I was also able to use Windows Vista driver for the said so you can try using Vista driver of the touch buttons for your model laptop.
bluewind.
I have the dv6000 as well. I haven't checked, but I believe they've been working. I can check when I go back home.
omganinja
Did you tried downloading the Vista drivers from hp.com? That might work. All the drivers I've installed on Win7 are Vista's and have worked perfectly. I've tried all the same drivers I used with the 7068 build, everything worked except the buttons. I've also tried downloading the drivers again from the HP site, that didn't work either. I even tried updating the bios then installing the drivers again, didn't work either. I literally tried for hours.
