omar8
Why is Windows Defender still sporting the old look? You would think with all the improvements to the control panel they would have made Windows Defender load directly inside the control panel window or at least made it so that the colour scheme/icons were the same as the rest of the operating system. You would think Microsoft would be able to make a very consistent OS since they have years and hundreds of people working on Windows. Why is the tool tip for the close/minimise/maximise button still yellow and black? Another thing that Microsoft could probably fix with about 5 lines of code maximum. Edit1: Thought I would make a quick mock up to show what I mean more clearly (I have just used the Windows Firewall page and and I haven't bothered changing the links on the left, also note the "close" tooltip ;) ) Edit2: Ok, I have found this website: http://www.windows7taskforce.com/ and almost every suggest is a good point which Microsoft should fix, I am not sure how long this website has been running, but to be honest, you would have thought Microsoft would have got a few employees to go through the list and contact the right departments to get these issues sorted. It's these small inconsistencies which are the annoying ones. Edited June 13, 2009 by omar8
The Patri0t
The website you mentioned has been a good initiative. As for Windows Defender, such an integration would be good but then some Anti-Spyware etc. companies will be crying about it. May be they did not do so to keep away from "anti competition complaints"
