InPCHell
When I try to install it, an error pops up saying, "Not a valid Win32 application." I downloaded it straight from Nero's site. Both my Windows 7 and Nero 8 are 32-bit. This worked perfectly fine on Vista. What gives?
rakeshishere
Nero 7,8,9 all perfectly worked fine here. Tested them on 7000 and 7100 and had no issues

+BeLGaRaTh Subscriber¹ Posted June 14, 2009 Subscriber¹ Share Posted June 14, 2009 I would say that's a bonus :p A feature rather than a bug. Nero has been horrible bloatware since version 4 or so, there are a lot of free softwares out there ImgBurn for one. That said you are using an OS that is in beta, so you can't expect everything to work :)
Pikey
Nero 7 working fine here on 7201! I like Nero .. if you don't install most of the rubbish that comes with it and just go for the bare essentials, you won't get lumbered with all the bloat .. simple. Nero Lite 8.3.13.0: 32MB. Either way its been running fine with every build of Win 7 so far.

HawkMan
After installing Win 7 RC1, Nero 8 no longer installs so if this was actually the case... why would it be a bad thing ? protecting the user from himself :p
Pikey
If you think Nero is a tad bloated, you should have a look at the latest Roxio effort ..
