On Xbox Live's 1 Vs 100 Last night

Uhh PST isn't East Coast, that would be EST. (Eastern Standard Time) PST is of course Pacific Standard Time.

WHAT?

I thought I was pretty clear what I meant.

1AM EST

So what your saying is you pressed X because they answer was actually X instead of pressing A instead? :p

That was it.. I picked George Lucas too, and I got it wrong.. I thought he directed all the star wars films?

No, he only directed Star Wars: A New Hope. He wrote and produced Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Hence why those movies are all 878709870987987087x better than the prequel crapology.

As for 1 vs. 100, it's awesome fun. But, one has to remember, unless you are the 1 you are playing for the fastest button press. I don't know how many times I hit a face button wrong because I was just trying to be first lol Especially on some stupidly easy questions.

I remember one question during the E3 launch of the beta. It was something like "What new motion sensing technology did Microsoft reveal at E3 yesterday" and like, 30,000 people got the question wrong while the answers were Project Natal, Project Gotham or Project Nintendo or something lol so funny.

  • 3 weeks later...

Do you get a question wrong if you don't answer? Say, someone steps away during those commercials and they miss the question and answer part. I think that could be a problem as well, if so.

I tried my first game this afternoon and thought it was pretty cool. The live host is sweet. I still don't understand why only 3 other gamertags showed up on my screen, though? I thought there were 100 in the mob - why or what makes those 3 individuals so important?

There are 100 people in the mob, and those 3 aren't important.

They are just the people you're playing 'with' for that session. There's nothing important about them.

Yeah it was a good laugh.

That first game we played was frickin' impossible though!

Yeah that was the 'lol wtf super hard' set of questions I think. I don't think I even got two right back to back on that set. :(

17% of the Mob did not know it takes 1 YEAR for the Earth to revolve around the Sun!

Similarily, almost a dozen (I think 11% missed it) as well did NOT know Raisins are made of Grapes... that was actually the Friday nights round, I think.

Yet, NO one got the question wrong that Miley Cyrus won the best actress in Kids Award!

I am pretty sure a lot of people also don't even know 10PM PST is what time it is in East Coast or what time is 17:44 supposed to be. I would love to see these kind of question in the trivia see how many get wrong!

:|

Good G-d people are stupid... They probably think it's hilarious that they didn't know that too...

They should've named it the Torture round, they were ridiculously hard :ninja:

Who knows what he was trying to say..

Anywho, I don't know of any games like 1 vs 100 you can play on web browsers. Although I'm not exactly actively looking for them either.

I tried out the Buzz space on PS3 Home yesterday and it's no match for 1 vs 100. It's different in a more interaction sense because you move your avatar left and right, but it's just a replacement for pressing the buttons. You just can't help but think it feels so bare though and pretty lifeless.

The interaction you have with the host and presenter are very nice touches in 1 vs 100. Whereas in Buzz it's pretty much a silent experience bar the cheers when the answers are revealed.

So many more smaller details which overall make it better too, not to mention the real prizes (Y)
