spacer
"Taborea" sounds like "Hyboria", the world of Conan and hence Age of Conan...which makes me want to vomit. No screens or videos?
SMELTN
I started playing this game Friday night, and have to say, I am addicted, been playing all weekend. Having played World of Warcraft since original open beta, this gives me so much of world of warcraft that the game feels comfortable, but adds alot of new spells/abilities, quests, and differences, to make it very fun and new. I am loving how they did things, combining some of the best parts of numerous mmo's out there including, wow, aoc, swg, ac, guild wars, etc. After seeing that you can purchase items for the game, I was thinking that this would ruin gameplay later, I assumed once you got higher level you would be forced to purchase items, but nope. Frogster did this right, while you can purchase items, those items will not break you or hinder you if you don't purchase them. Also Frogster does polls to see how the community likes features, and makes changes according to the game, or should I just say "They listen to the community". An example of this is they have now made the diamonds (which is the currency you purchase with real cash, in order to purchase items from the store) you can now exchange gold for diamonds, so now you can get all the items from the store without having to use real money at all. They are doing monthly patches to the game, and releasing new content on a 4 month cycle, with September releasing a new race: Elves, along with 2 new classes, new instances, new lands and starting areas, etc. I am really loving the game, I was tired of wow, and wanting to find something to fill my time until Star Wars The Old Republic comes out, and I have successfully found it with Runes of Magic. If anyone wants to check it out and needs a hand or help, join the US server: Artemis and look for me in game. Name is: Smeltn Also for those of you who love addon's as much as I do. Curse now fully supports ROM. With addon's and a database search just like they do with WOW. So Curse gaming thinks the game is good enough for primetime. With over 1 Million players currently playing and a new expansion coming out in 2 months, this game has ALOT of promise Hope you all will check it out, and have fun Edited June 16, 2009 by SMELTN
