Deathray
Okay I may be missing something, but it appears that when you select a folder that contains the images you want to be used in the shuffle stuff for your wallpaper, there is no ability to include subfolder images? I have wallpaper directories within my main wallpaper folder, but I can't seem to find any way to make those images to be included in the automatic background wallpaper changing feature Is there some way to achieve this, or am I missing something obvious? It might be possible to create a new library, and link all the folders, but that's going to take time, and be annoying to manage as I'd have to link in new folders each time I create one. BeerFan
Nope, you're right. The background rotator limits you to selecting just one folder, with no ability to include subfolders. I sent feedback numerous times about that bit. Seems like it would be an incredibly simple change for MS to make. Haven't tried the Library method yet... might give that a try. rakeshishere
Can this be done via a registry tweak.?? I really don't know why they had to hurry for Release candidate. All this could have done when it was in beta. Presently its only bug fixes and nothing else.
mdtaUK
Thanks for the tip! I made a Library with all my individual folders with wallpapers in, and it works great! I seperate my Wallpapers folder into categories like Scenery, Clouds and Skies, Patterns etc, and turning the Wallpapers folder itself into a Library didn't work, so I made the Library adding the subfolders in individually and it works!
