blehbleh
Topic is king. Is there any way to get black titlebars on maximized windows back?
Ambroos
I don't remember how anymore exactly, but with an UXTheme patch it iss possible. The taskbar stays transparant though, it only works for the windows.
blehbleh
Hmm, sounds promising. I don't care about the taskbar, got it on autohide anyway.
blehbleh
Oh, btw. Is it possible to have non-transparent window-titlebars but transparent other stuff (like alt-tab, superbar-previews etc). Alt-tab aero peek is pretty useless without transparancy on the window-list and transparent titlebars makes the entire screen cluterred.
KoL Veteran Posted June 18, 2009 Veteran Share Posted June 18, 2009 I havent done a theme for Win7 but I think if you edit the msstyle you will be able to do that. On Vista the taskbar, start menu, windows are transparent PNG images. You just create a nontranparent image and replace it. Win 7 msstyle is pretty close to Vista msstyle. Lt-DavidW
It bothered me at first that the titlebars were no longer black in 7, but to be honest I completely forgot about it until this thread reminded me.
