Latest x64 Build?

Recommended Posts

Hey,

Not really up to date with this constant stream of 'leaks' so I'm sorry for the newbie question. I decided to install Windows 7 again tonight and wanted the latest build in the 64 Bit flavour but I don't know which build that is, could anyone enlighten me?

Thanks!

Well, it's not necessary to re-install with every build so it can last a few weeks and then an even higher build should be available :p

RTM = final, aka start to hunt for win8 alphas :) there wont be any "new" build after it, until they start to activly develop SP1 (not current winmain_sp branch that is basickly testing of SP implementation).

I have just put version 7232 64bit on my main comp and 7260 32bit on the one of the others (which I got courtesy of Solor's posting) and they are both great. Thanks Solor. :D

7262 is said to be 64 bit also... we'll have to see when (if) it leaks.

Wzor says about a new 6.1.7263.0.win7_rtm.090619-1900, well dont know until its leaked and checked.

@Rilkeanheart need your feedback on the x64 7260..

Comments for that one haven't been positive yet from what I can read... not one positive, all negatives, a lot of corrupt files, etc. Kinda hard to have corruption these days unless it's pooched from the source to begin with... while I'd be interested in acquiring 7260 cleanly at some point, that's not today so I'll wait.

No much of a change from 7229 though...

Well, let's see what happens with the actual 7263.
