HostileGamer
On game.amd.com I look up the drivers for Win 7 x64 & it looks like there are two drivers listed. I downloaded the 9.6 ones a& it works great, but I was just wondering what are the second ones? Also is AVIVO not supported with Win 7 yet? Yusuf M. Veteran Posted June 21, 2009 Veteran Share Posted June 21, 2009 The second Catalyst (8.612) package contains WHQL-certified drivers specifically for Windows 7. WHQL stands for Windows Hardware Quality Labs. Basically, if a certain software is WHQL-certified, it means that the software has been thoroughly tested and deemed compatible with Microsoft's operating systems. Unfortunately, the Avivo Video Converter is not supported under Windows 7.
unknownsoldierX
Anyone know if there is an ETA for legacy drivers? I'm impatiently awaiting for better Win7 compatibility for my x800.

Inctye
Awesome. Just installed 9.6 on my x1200 and its working great. Previously I was stuck using 9.2 since the more recent ones were not installing for some reason. Guess they really fixed those bugs.

Joni_78
Both 9.5 and 9.6 have problems with Media Center when watching recorded TV or LiveTV :(. I hope it's fixed in 9.7.
