Dane
I was wondering, how do I take an image, and turn it into a spray for a steam game? I found some info online, but it doesnt seem to work.
Knightwolf20024
i think it needs to be a 256X256 (this is the biggest you can go) either jpg , gif , or png file

The_Decryptor Veteran Posted June 22, 2009 Veteran Share Posted June 22, 2009 A max of 256x256 (you can have an image like 128x256, file size matters, not resolution) and the format depends on the tool being used, an app like VTFEdit will accept just about anything, while an app like vtex (in the Source SDK) is limited to TGA. Then you put it in <game dir>/materials/VGUI/
