so im installing this on a fresh HDD and it gets through the first parts but hangs (or so it seems) on the "completing installation..." part. The harddrive activity light stays on steady for a few mins then goes out then comes back on again...im assuming its actually doing something but the progress bar at the bottom isnt moving at all....is this normal? does this part take a really long time or is there some kind of issue im missing. =/

23 minutes from BIOS to first SUPERBAR experience! Make sure you burn the ISO at the lowest bearable speed and ensure data verification.

It says expanding files 0% for about 4-10 minutes, I don't know if you that may be your issue?

Perhaps you could try installing from a USB stick?

You'll need a 4G with nothing on it .. format it as NTFS (I think?) .. un-rar all the contents of the ISO onto it.

Then re-boot, enter your machines BIOS and change the boot order to the USB .. re-boot and install.

Remember to take the USB stick out at the first re-start .. it's not needed after that!

Good luck ..
