BoneyardBrew Member Posted June 23, 2009 Member Share Posted June 23, 2009 I already downloaded this. Seems to be working well from what I see. They seem to have updated the UI compared to the XP version I was using prior to making the switch to Windows 7.

Penryn
I saw the drivers on it's homepage but somehow there is no options to let ppl download it are they not ready yet for public downloads ?
Foxxx428
Their downloads are always worthless. You can get them by clicking express download then copy and paste the random password into the confirmed field then click download and wait a minute. Then wait 4 hours for the download to complete if it doesn't time out in the middle.

wiggly1uk2000
I'm curious, do you guys need these sound drivers for Windows 7? I have Realtek high definition sound on my Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4 and the drivers built-in to Windows 7 work a treat. Every time I tried the Realtek drivers on Vista I ended up ditching them and going back to the MS ones. The Realtek drivers I've tried in the past came with extra services and/or unnecessary background tasks (Skytel for example). Plus their control panel was hideous last time I used it and the awful icon didn't even match the OS. Other than being newer can anyone tell me what proven benefits there are to using the Realtek drivers in favour of the ones supplied with Windows? Sadelwo
I usually get mine from softpedia. I wonder if this driver solves the low volume several people (including myself) experienced?

Here's the UI. Still the same as previous versions in Vista and 7. I guess Realtek just hasn't changed XP version's UI.
