thealexweb
1) If I remove Internet Explorer 8 most of the components are left behind so does that mean I.E Tab for Firefox would work? 2) I just installed 7229 x86, is that the latest untouched build of Windows 7 to have leaked, a proper untouched iso rather than one put together using bits from other builds. 3) Do I still need CCCP or are are codecs covered by that covered in WMP12? Am I still better of installing it? Thank you.

joontje
im quite sure that the last real iso was 7201, i could be wrong tho And codecs, google for shark 007, he has a win7 codec pack with everything you will ever need in it, including WMC ones :)
Udedenkz
IE Tab should work as IE Core is never removed. For codecs, simplest way to go is to install WMPC:HC
Nagisan
And codecs, google for shark 007, he has a win7 codec pack with everything you will ever need in it, including WMC ones :) +1....installed this on my 7201 install and it plays any video format I have ran into, including .mkv and what not straight from WMP.
