dancedar
I've not got a backup or external hdd and my current 180gb 7RC1 drive has just 20gb left on it- looking to buy W7 but wondering if I can: Split my current partition, separating XP and all my media (photos/music) Install 7 over/on the XP partition In 7, rejoin/merge the partitions back together I've not enough room to simply create a 7 partition and copy the media to from the 'media partition', I'd need to join them. Is this possible? Hope so- would be of use to others who don't/can't backup when they go for the 7 clean install. Thanks (I know I can just buy a new HDD etc but I can't really afford another expense just for this comp)
