Seems MS is thinking about that, but among other things, a 4G+ USB stick is much much more costly than a DVD, you think you are willing to pay for the extra bucks?? Microsoft is considering offering Windows 7 on a thumb drive to allow Netbook owners to more easily upgrade their machines, a source tells CNET News. So, they could use even cheaper part (slower / no need for the USB drive to be ultrasmall size) to put Win7 on it and add $10 to the cost... Sandisk Cruzer 4Gb for $18 at BestBuy....
