Tech Star
I am looking to buy this XBOX 360 Elite: http://cgi.ebay.com/Microsoft-Xbox-360-Eli...1QQcmdZViewItem and it is selling for $290 which is a great price for me. :D The seller though has 0 Feedback. Do you think I should buy it still?
deanps
No. Go with Power Seller's only if you have to spend large amounts of money on eBay.
Astra.Xtreme
He doesn't have any feedback, so I wouldn't recommend it. Though if you pay with Paypal, you do have protection on your money, so it's pretty much your call. I've been screwed over before on eBay, but I was able to get my money back via Paypal. I'm a little curious why he has 42 of these things and selling them that cheap.
jonhapimp
If you have to ask then NO
Gabureiru
No if he has below 10 positive feedback (rule of thumb), but personally I don't buy from anyone that has a pos feedback lower than 20. To be safe better buy it locally through eBay, Craigslist. I bought my Xbox360 on eBay, but was a local seller.
Raa
Unless you are paying with paypal and it comes up offering complete protection, steer WELL clear.
Tech Star
Unless you are paying with paypal and it comes up offering complete protection, steer WELL clear. It says "Pay with Paypal and your full purchase price is covered." It also says that he is ID Verified. Bah....this is confusing. :/
Astra.Xtreme
If it's Paypal protected, you should be fine. The guy might have stolen a truck of them and wants to move them all fast. ;) If you really want a new one, then I'd say go for it. Otherwise if you don't mind a used one, find one on Craigslist and you'll be able to get it a lot cheaper. The local Craigslist here has Elites all the time for about $200. If you do go with the eBay one, make sure that he doesn't want you to send the payment to Africa or something.
neoadorable
i'd have to say no. better get a used one rather than send money to someone you don't know and hope for the best. i always recommend shopping locally and in the flesh if possible.
