Yeah it's rather slow. I'm pulling between 50-100 kb right now. It'll speed up I'm sure. Sadly, of the 900 leechers, I'm sure as soon as most of them finish, they'll shut down the torrent. Damn leechers.

I spiked to 230 kB/s and now it's back to 1.7 kB/s. :(

Yeah I'm downloading it now. Will have an HTTP link available asap.

Any estimates on how long we'll have to wait for a link? :p

I wish I could say. Right now the torrents are getting hammered which seems to be the only source for dling it right now. People should just download from the torrent for the next hour or so for now. I'm guessing an HTTP link would be worthwhile around that time. Unless a HTTP link surfaces before then and I can grab it quickly from there and put up another mirror.

PS. I'm downloading at 127 kB/s right now and uploading at 200 kB/s.

^^^ good on them. It's upsetting when valve releases a new game/game update and everyone tries to download at once and the servers get downed or you get the steam error that servers are unavailable.

Damnit! The mirrors are slowing down and I'm only at 45%. It dropped from 900 KB/sec to 400 KB/sec.

It keeps going up and down...but its downloading at 500kb/s to ~1.2mb/s...and uploading at 190/200ish.

I cannot wait! :D

From the little I played, I was highly impressed. All the weapons (and there's like, 16 weapons) are amazingly modeled and sound great. The maps are beautifully done, the art is fantastic and overall it's very polished as I knew it would be.

It's just a bit confusing to know what to do, and plus, TKing is a major problem. Even though the devs made it VERY clear who is on your team, it amazes me people can still TK.

Yes, because CSS has active-camo, heat/movement based vision modes, CTF game modes, an XP based upgrade system and a squad system. Mmhmm.

I just played for a little while. I loved it! Great game. Really well polished up game.

Now to seed the torrent for a while :)

If you are sprinting with Recon and hit jump, you jump like 15 feet.
