Lucasarts bringing classics to Steam July 8th

Worst part for me, I only want 4 games:

LOOM

The Dig

Fate of Atlantis

Republic Commando

And there'll blatantly be a bundle which'll contain them all for 10 more than the cost of these 4 :)

But tbh, they could have just thrown 8 rocks in the Lucasart's office and hit 8 more popular games.

I remember playing LOOM way back in the day. I think I was 6 or 7 years old when I got it. That game gave me some great memories, but I'll be interested to see what the price is, considering you can pretty much run through that entire game start to finish in about an hour.

I may check out Republic Commando. For some reason, that game slipped completely under my radar when it came out.

Loom is already a buy in my book. It's one of my favorite games of all time.

If Battlefront 2 contains multiplayer support I'll consider it.

Am I not seeing it or is there no "pack" for these? They're all separate buys?

Classics?! Pah!

When they said classics I was hoping for (original) Sam n' Max, Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, X-Wing, TIE Fighter, Grim Fandango... Y'know proper classic Lucasarts games.

Oh well :(

DotT was a fantastic game.

Also, I'll bet if these sell well, I'll bet they'll bring out more.

If it's like most of their 3rd party offerings they'll offer it as a pack plus a weekend deal on the whole shebang. :)

Fate of Atlantis was amazing, i remember solving a puzzle where you had to align three or four stone disks, and I did it in one try. Best gaming memory ever :p

You can buy that from gog.com

I know, I own it on CD, but I'm trying to consolidate all of my games on Steam. It's just easier in so many ways.

Anyone pick up Battlefront 2 yet?

How many people are playing it online?

I have the retail version from when it was released. The last time I played it was over a year ago. It had a decent number of servers. I imagine it would have more now that it's available on Steam.

That brings me to this question: will I be able to activate my Battlefront II product key on Steam? It'd be nice to have a "digital copy" of it. I know you can activate the retail versions of Unreal Tournament 3 on Steam.
