Kalint
It's just that there really isn't anything new or special to it. It's got the same effects as Bad Company. It's got the same map (Wake Island) from Battlefield 2. Etc. Havn't we played this game already? Plus they put it at the retarded 1200 points which means you have to buy 1000 points then 500 points to get this game at cheapest.
Raa
Considering it's not even on PC yet, I can't answer that, but my impression so far is no. Having said that though, everyone i've spoken to has comments like "It Rocks!", so....

Its now nearly 2 :( I played the 30 minute demo and I did enjoy it, but it's no Battlefield 2 (still the best) and it doesn't have the action of bad company

LOC Veteran Posted July 16, 2009 Veteran Share Posted July 16, 2009 1942 is actually the best BF game and alot of people would agree with me on that one :) But yes, 1943 is well worth it imo. And of course it won't have the action of Bad Company, it's a WW2 game, it doesn't have choppers or tanks (that are much faster than their WW2 counterparts) etc etc. Plus the weapons are totally different in style. Said that, for $15, 1943 is really good and most of all, it's fun. Definitely worth it until Bad Company 2 comes out. I just hope DICE releases another map or two in the meantime; 4 maps will certainly get old by the fall.
Funworld
I had played the demo some time back and enjoyed it. I think you can also try out the demo and then decide for yourself. :)
Island Dog
It's fun, and it's nice to have a good FPS in which you can easily play, not have to worry about finding the disk for. I'm looking forward to the PC version as well.
+Mystic MVC Posted July 21, 2009 MVC Share Posted July 21, 2009 It has been a great game to fill the summer void for me and will provide hours of fun. Waiting for it until it releases for the PC is another story though because by then many of the fall AAA titles will start flowing out.
