NienorGT
I'm not lucky with my Apple stuff lately :( Since I got my iPhone 3GS (a pure wonder) and used 3G Tethering, I have MANY trouble to use the wireless now. I'm getting tons of timeout, disconnections etc on network that was working good before. I'm right now using the iPhone tethering, that's my only reliable Internet source as now. Did I messed up something in OSX settings? (I'm using USB tethering as BT is annoying to open/close to save battery) (Posted in Software because I expect the problem to be software, but it can be hardware too, I don't know)
instant.human
i am not that much into iphone software but i figured for myself, which is why i didnt do it, that going to some website to download a new profile couldnt be that awesome. is that what you did? get the profile from some website? i dont know if you have tethering covered by... is it rogers in canada? if tethering was actually covered by your carrier, talk to them. if not, dont and try to recover the profile you got replaced. dont know if that helps but thats what i would do. ;) you indeed seem to be a little out of luck with apple products lately, dont you? iphone, macbook keyboard and an additional problem... i feel sorry for you! good luck and all! What does using a different IPCC profile have to do with the wireless on his Mac? Nothing. Seems to me that they are unrelated. What are you connecting your Mac to, a router? Some more info on the products you are using, OS X version etc would be useful.
