Im new to mac and starting web designing, and waiting mac for photoshop... any tips on what to look for would be great. BTW is there a CPUz version for macs? There is no such thing as a iMac laptop. IF I was looking at a used laptop I would check it for any damage to the housing - anything that could use problems later down the road. Also make sure there has been no liquid spelt on the computer. As far as Intel/VS PowerPC - if it is a older PowerPC model it will still run Photoshop just fine. There is no real software like CPUz for Windows. I think the best bet wouuld be to click on the Apple Logo - select About this Mac and then press More Info. That would show you more than enough info. You can also check the warranty and exact model of the computer by entering the serial number of the computer on apple website http://www.apple.com/support/service/help/warrantycheck/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
