giantpotato Posted July 30, 2009 Share Posted July 30, 2009 There's no reason the 360+ can't have a 3.5" 1TB HDD. If they're completely relaunching the console it could be redesigned to use 3.5" drives. They could even have an adapter to make it backwards compatible with the 2.5" drives. This would also have the advantage of having a faster HDD making games load faster from disk. If they really wanted to they could even keep the same console form factor and mount the drive perpendicular in it's enclosure. It would make the console really tall or long but a 3.5" HDD would still fit existing consoles. some 250GB 2.5" drives and 1TB 3.5" drives are comparable in price.
