Elessar
I was eagerly awaiting Forza 3 and then GT5 showed WRC and NASCAR at E3. Now, I have no idea which one to get. IF IF IF GT5 comes out this year, then my mind is made up, but that's a big if :( Both look great too...

Try reading the article a little closer. The first five cars are exclusive to VIP members of the F3 community, a membership for which is included in the LCE. The second five cars are exclusive to the LCE as a car pack. The only car you'd miss out on if you don't pre-order would be the custom-painted Audi R8. Richard Hammond
So i would have to buy the game, pay xbox live fees to play online as well as pay for VIP status just to get to drive the iconic cars in the collection. No thanks ill just get a PS3 instead.

If you get a PS3 you still can't play Forza lol Here in Australia, the PS3 is still $700. Xbox 360 is $280, Live is $60. Still works out cheaper GT4 will probably come free with the PS3 when it releases though...still cheaper to get the 360 :D

Spookie
i dont want to turn this into a console bitchfest. Don't say well I'm going to throw my toys out the pram and buy a PS3 then. You know what will happen. On topic: The box looks loverly as well as the keyring and USB stick look very professional. It's mighty tempting even though I'm not a massive fan of Forza (was never too good at driving sims)!
Chicane-UK Veteran Posted July 28, 2009 Veteran Share Posted July 28, 2009 Can't wait for Forza 3. I'm all over it the day it lands here in Europe! Is it a simultaneous world wide release or is North America getting it first?

Well ever since Froza 1 was released the Forza series has been recognized as the "best sim" racer. Since it's more realistic, has better handling and has had damage since day one, while GT has allways been slightly more arcadeish, still on the sim side of things, but kinda sim lite. Anyway there's nothing you need VIP membership for, it's just to show off, and get the team painted cars every now and then and the team pre-tuned cars. you don't need VIP membership to paint your own cars, buy painted and tuned cars on the games own marketplace with the in game currency and all that stuff. and if the VIP team cars are re-sellable, you might be able to get them without the VIP membership that way anyway. Vortex566
I am tempted by these cars, I for one like the paint job on offer. Well ever since Froza 1 was released the Forza series has been recognized as the "best sim" racer. Since it's more realistic, has better handling and has had damage since day one, while GT has allways been slightly more arcadeish, still on the sim side of things, but kinda sim lite. Who says it is the better sim? At the end of the day we have no idea when GT5 might appear and as such this game is going to get my money. I liked what was shown at E3 and I always did enjoy Forza 2 even if it got a little hard too soon.
