Science section needs be to rid of crackpottery

What we need is a SCIENCE section...(there maybe one person who knows what i mean.)

You lost me there. Is this not a proper science section on the forums?

well the best way to spell it out is...

Science = getting men on Mars.

SCIENCE = getting cheese to Mars.

Gotcha. Well we do have Area 51 and The Hum's Real World News for the latter...

A lot of time I never realize what section I am posting in. I hit the link for active topics and post replies in topics that interest me. I will try in the future to not post foolishness in the science section.

Seems to me that you are one of only a couple of people who feel Ripgut is wrong. The rest of us feel he is right.

It's already been cleared up that he was referring to the responses people make to the articles.

In which case there is no reason to move the science articles somewhere else.

It's 1000x more common for people in the Microsoft sections to begin flame wars about Apple, but you don't see those threads being moved. There's no logical reasoning to it. You can't compensate for what people might say, so again I'll say, I think it's fine how it is.

If you think otherwise, at least give a reason instead of just saying I'm wrong...

Is there any truth behind that, or is it just your opinion? Just curious.

Who said anything about moving threads?

Those threads you mention about Microsoft and Apple flame wars are modderated pretty heavily. What we need is moderation of those threads where people insist on posting silly comments about an article. It throws the topic off course and upsets people who are trying to have a proper discussion about science.
