TheTempestSonata
So here's the thing: working on a friend's computer to set up her DSL, upgraded from dial-up. I connected everything, and I got a signal, connected to the router (http://192.168.1.1) and was doing fine. Then I restarted and tried now with IE8, and FF3.5, and I can't connect. I ran IE's diagnostic tool and it said my ports for http, https, and ftp are blocked by a firewall. There is no firewall on the computer. I temporarily disabled Window's firewall, and still nothing. Any ideas? EDIT: I should also mention - from a command prompt, ping www.google.com and ping 192.168.1.1 work just fine, both coming back in less than 1ms.
