@home networks

Question

Guest Weasel526

Ever since at&t took over my cable modem, my Internet Connections Sharing (ICS) has ceased to work on any of my networked computers. A quick check over at the attbi "forums" suggests that other people are having this problem too, but they are all newbies who don't even know what an IP address is.

Has anyone come up with a fix for this?

I've never had at&t or @home, but if you post your settings, we could give suggestions as to what to try.

Yeah....I have ATT@Home and used to use ICS. We have moved on to a Linksys router. But tell us what settings your using...ip, dns, workgroup, computer name of host...etc

If i remember right, you don't need an ip or dns for the client computers. Should just be auto....make sure they have the right workgroup though.
