Comic Book Guy
They should also bring back Sacrifice, just remembered that game after reading Battlezone, basically the same gameplay. Too bad it was hugely underrated and will probably never see a sequel. I never heard of that game, and I like RPGs, I would have given it a shot if I'd known about it. Prince Charming
Would like a third Summoner title. And a new MechWarrior. And another Crimson Skies, because the second of Crimson Skies and Summoner were crappy. At least one of my wishes is being answered though :)
CrazyK
2D Sonic, those games were always my reason for consoles.
MightyJordan
I would have loved to see the Dancing Stage series be more popular on the current consoles than it is at the moment. It's a real shame, but thankfully, the old arcade versions still live on in the right places. The last time I went up my caravan, they had two different DS machines; Euromix, and Fusion. I haven't been up there in over two years though. I'm going up next month, so I'll see what's changed. One thing that's changed is there's no Initial D machine there anymore, and that is a real shame, because I loved playing that (it was Initial D First Stage). I used up all 50 plays on the card, and I still have the card on me, but I haven't found another machine to get the card changed. :( Another series I want to see revived is MechAssault. Only two of them were made, both on the Xbox, but my god, they were good! I'm not sure if they work on the 360, so I'll check later, but if they do, I'm gonna go back and see if anyone's still playing it online!
lalalawawawa
Car Tycoon - great game. Too bad it was filled with lots of bugs. Transport Tycoon - everyone who had played it, knows why. Lost Vikings - Ah, back in the days... :)
Remysaus
Lost Vikings - Ah, back in the days... :) Oh god yes, might be the first game I properly enjoyed :)
Cold Blood
Reading the thread so far has reminded me that there are still a huge amount of game concepts that could make awesome games, but developers nowadays only stick to some proven concepts, rather those that make $$$$ and have completely forgotten about all the other concepts. I find the games mentioned that I played a million times more fun and more enjoyable than most games nowadays, heck even the top titles ;) . Now to add my contribution. I would really like to see the old style need for speed series revied, like need for speed 4 or 3.
Starbuck84
Transport Tycoon - everyone who had played it, knows why. You can however, still play Transport Tycoon: http://www.openttd.org/en/ . You won't even need the original files, as there is an OpenGFX (open graphics) library: http://wiki.openttd.org/OpenGFX_Readme . Sounds doesn't play here and some of the graphics are different, but the game-play is still awesome as it was. :) On-topic: Carmageddon, the old style as in the first one of the series. And Midtown Madness, loved that game. Start a race or free roam or play a multiplayer game with friends.
furby
Yes, any decent 2D Sonic for consoles would be epic. Yes we've had Rush and the other DS one, but we need one that runs off sprites, not polygons. Be great to see another 2D Sonic. Keeping my eye on the Sonic2HD project in the meantime
+Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted July 31, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted July 31, 2009 Carmageddon 2 was awesome :D I would like to see Twisted Metal 3 (Y) A Dark Cloud 3 would be nice as well.

Sethos
Hmm good question.. I really miss the Midtown Madness series (Especially MM3), I know that sounds weird, but I passed more time playing that game on Live than most.It was a great multiplayer game. Yeah, those games were brilliant. The first one is still my favourite :) I actually bought an original Xbox just to play MM3, still have it somewhere. Chicane-UK Veteran Posted July 31, 2009 Veteran Share Posted July 31, 2009 Carmageddon! Definitely want to see that back! Midtown Madness, loved that game. Start a race or free roam or play a multiplayer game with friends. Midtown was excellent though Test Drive Unlimited isn't a bad modern alternative for that.. TDU is in dire need of a sequel though with some more features and more roads!

t_r_nelson
Two games from the mid-90s I loved were Magic Carpet and Mech Warrior II. I've heard the MW franchise was coming back, but I've never found anything like Magic Carpet. I thought the concept was brilliant and the gameplay was fun. Dungeon Hack was another one. The ability to randomly create dungeons and set parameters for the dungeon made the replayability pretty good. And thanks to DOSBox, I can :D

dead.cell
Future Cop: L.A.P.D. That game was purchased together between myself and some neighborhood kids. We each took it home for a while and played the crap out of it. Not sure whatever happened to the disc, but that games was fun as hell. Would love to see it come alive again. s162216
I'd dearly love to see Goldeneye revamped for use on modern consoles and PCs I think Goldeneye is good enough as it is, HD visuals, digital surround, that would spoil it a bit for me to honest although an online multiplayer would be good. Agreed. It's a real shame Nintendo blocked the XBLA version. Nintendo were not going to get a fair enough deal apparently, only 40% of any profit. If they could come to a comprmise and released it on both Wii and 360 I think it would be good. Its a great game and usuallly appears in top 50 games lists so why not? I would love to see another 2.5D Command and Conquer and another Midtown Madness as I used to love just smashing my way through traffic at 100mph and wishing I could really do it. Another 007 like Everything or Nothing would be good as well, thats proberly my second favourite Bond game after Goldeneye.
sialivi
The two people earlier in this thread who wanted Mechwarrior resurrected must have missed that the trailer for a new Mechwarrior game was released a while back. One of the highlights in the game is 4 player co-op campaign. Mechwarrior Trailer on YouTube
