1337ish
Hi I just noticed that the main menu "control panel" is different depending on where you are. If you are on the frontpage you only get a limited set of items but the forum gives you the full menu. I would personally like all the options wherever you are as its annoying having to click into a forum area to access those items. Its not a big issues, just an annoynance. Joel
If you're talking about the dropdown, some things in there are forum-only options. It was most likely deemed less confusing for the majority to not have an option that says , say, My Last 10 Posts on the main page, because people would then think they could see their last 10 news comments. 1337ish
Possibly but tbh it makes it more confusing imo since you dont know where the link is to view say your PM inbox. Main menu's are usually consistent and not contextual so that people know exactly what is where. If they wanted to strip forum only stuff it should be a fresh forum menu that appears as its only item inside the forums which makes it clearer there is a new menu, my point being that if you never went into the forums you easily wouldnt realise the links for PM etc are there.
