+Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted August 4, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted August 4, 2009 Take Two seems to plan the release of the GTA 4 add-on The Lost and Damned for other platforms as well. There is a notice on the German age rating website USK which indicates that at least. Sometimes games can be found on the German age rating website USK (Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle) which have not been officially announced yet. So recently the USK tested two Gamescom trailers of the first GTA 4 add-on The Lost and Damned which was already released for Xbox 360 exclusively in February. But why should Take Two show a games fair trailer of an already released add-on although the second Xbox 360 add-on called The Ballad of Gay Tony is already in the starting blocks? It might stand to reason that it will be published for another platform, too. If that will happen for PC or PS3 or even both is totally unclear. The classification of the trailers for the PC category has no greater significance since this is done automatically on the USK website. But we will keep you up to date. First impressions about the first Grand Theft Auto 4 add-on can be found in our gallery and in the trailer below. We also recommend our GTA 4 mod articles Improved sky lighting for better graphics and GTA 4: Better graphics with ENB Series Mod. Source: http://www.pcgameshardware.com/aid,691651/...me-for-PC/News/ The USK is a pretty solid source, it called Braid PS3 the other day, and why on earth would there be trailers for Lost and Damned at Gamescom? d4rk5ky
TLAD was a good dlc for GTA IV, other then it was a bit short but that goes with being a dlc and all. I hope Rockstar continues to release more dlc for GTA IV before they release GTA V.
+Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted August 4, 2009 Author Subscriber² Share Posted August 4, 2009 https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?show...amp;p=591375186 Deserving of it's own topic, we tend to agree around here anything "substantial" news wise can be separated from official topics, and it mentions the PS3 as well. But yeah you did beat me :p
san.W10
[repost] TLAD PC trailer Rumours A few rumours were posted on our forums about the USK ratings and possible new platform versions for TLAD. We've contacted R* about this matter, and as it seems it does get released under the PC platform due to Rockstar submitting the trailers as files for playback on PC.So, for future referece: It isn't a leak or a mistake, all trailers - no matter for which platform the actual product is released - are listed under PC. http://www.gta4.net/news/4281/tlad-pc-trailer-rumours/ to be honest, i'm still confused. :p wth are they trying to say? Lost and Damned is going to appear at Gamescom is all we know, and logic tells you it would be pretty strange to re-run trailers for the 360 version, so it's most likely to unveil a PC version of the DLC. The DLC is probably only console exclusive.

Yusuf M. Veteran Posted August 5, 2009 Veteran Share Posted August 5, 2009 I was wondering about this a few days ago. It's good news to me. Hopefully it'll be released soon and by that I mean before the end of the summer.
Sethos
I could see a PC release happening, since the thing still falls under "Microsoft exclusivity" ( GFWL etc. ) but a PS3 version is still wishful thinking from the PS3 camp. So they are probably going to deny, deny and deny again - Then let's give it a few months and see what really happens.
san.W10
UPDATE : TLAD PC Trailer Rumours Rumours have been posted on our forums about the USK (German) ratings for The Lost and Damned, leading to speculation over possible new platform (PC) support for the game. We went ahead and contacted Rockstar regarding the matter, and it all turns out to be a big misunderstanding. In a nutshell: All trailers submitted to USK are listed as "PC", regardless of what platform the product is actually released on. If the trailer itself is set for playback on PC, it's marked as PC. Simple as that. Nevertheless, feel free to discuss the rumours on our forums. (Editor's Note from Andy: This post was tweaked to clarify a few details. We offer our apologies to the rabid PC gaming masses for any confusion that we've caused.) http://www.gta4.net/news/4281/tlad-pc-trailer-rumours/ ------------------------------------ GTA 4 - The Lost and Damned: Producer denies PC announcement on Gamescom Translated: As reported, the ESRB (Entertainment Software self) two film trailer for "Grand Theft Auto 4" expansion "The Lost and Damned" checked, both supposedly for PC. Therefore, if a corresponding implementation on the Gamescom announced in Cologne? Rockstar Games producer denies this now compared PICTURE COMPUTER GAMES. The specification of the system on the ESRB website refers to the data on which the trailer was filed - in the case on a CD or DVD. Therefore, the platform statement on the page a bit misleading "PC". That did nothing with the format to be done for the game, then a company spokesman. On the show you Gamescom only two trailers already known to the Add-on.
