Tharp Daddy
EA Games. All there games feel rushed and often lack content that they later deliver in an expansion to the original game. I don't buy or play EA produced games any more and I reluctantly buy games from other developers which have been published by EA. EA has gotten alot more lax recently, i mean hell look at last year, Mirrors Edge, Dead Space, etc they are actually trying new things for once; as long as i don't see Mirrors edge becoming a annual game like madden then ill be happy . +longgonebn Subscriber² Posted August 5, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted August 5, 2009 I agree, Mirror's Edge, Dead Space (love dead space) are great, and there are some good classics as well. But there are still more reasons to hate on EA, past and present things they have done.
Pc_Madness
good luck being greedy after working with valve. Clearly you missed what they did to the Orange Box on the PS3. Released one or two updates and was like "see ya!". Hence why Valve aren't doing PS3 titles any more (well, until they can do it themselves), EA burned Valves PS3 fans. Valve.Asking millions in advance to port a game? Check. Ripping off an entire continent in pricing? Check. Arrogant **** in charge? Check. Explain? dead.cell
Activision BY FAR!! They milk the living **** out of their franchises. We don't need a new CoD every year and 12 guitar hero every year. Also, Bobby Kotick is the biggest douche on the planet. Guitar Hero I'll give you that, but the Call of Duty argument doesn't really fly. They're not dishing them out nearly as fast, and each one has quite a lot of content, imo. It seems they've finally got a great game engine in their hands, and they're making use of it. Honestly, I'm downright pleased with that. No sense in letting something great go to waste. Besides, it's not like you're forced to buy any of it, right? So how the hell does that hurt you at all? What I find to be disgusting is when a gaming company dishes out nothing but steaming turds. Unfinished, broken turds... Or worse: making promises but never delivering. While I like Bethesda's work and desire to do something great with their games, they're beginning to pick up a reputation for not fixing bugs with their games. Hell, my jaw dropped when I saw issues from Oblivion spring up once again in Fallout 3. Friggin' ridiculous... I also refuse to discuss Nintendo on the grounds that I will get into a full blown rant. sanctified Veteran Posted August 5, 2009 Veteran Share Posted August 5, 2009 And why we need to dislike something as irrelevant to our immediate lives?
s162216
EA as they keep buying out all the smaller games companies and the games from those companies quality always declines afterwards.
toadeater
Microsoft - For pushing the Xbox at the expense of PC gaming. For pushing Vista (DX10 and Games For Vista Live) at the expense of PC gaming (no XP port of DX10). The so-called Games for Windows Live was nothing more than a scheme to extort $$$ from PC gamers and get them to play crap console ports with Xbox gamers. Sony - Probably the greediest game company there is. Terrible development and community support too. EA - EA has done it all. Every bad thing that could be done that is. It's too bad they have bought up like every good franchise there is, because they will ruin all of them one way or another. Whether it's through DRM schemes, dumbing-down, or just plain bad sequels. These three publishers I dislike the most I guess?
M_Lyons10
Other, please specify:AeriaGames Never heard of them... I guess they must have a poor record? For me it's EA. They just annoy me with everything they do basically anymore. Constantly pumping out products that rarely are different or creative risks (Which is how you get the best games). Throwing around their weight the way they do... Ugh...
