I am the administrator of local IT help desk and the help desk agents are having a problem. They have administrator accounts in which their proxy settings aren't applied via gpo. That have standard accounts that the proxy's are applied. Their temporary work around has to be run IE as regular account anytime they want to use the net. Well they are getting a little sick of that so I working on a better solution. Applying gpo on there admin accounts is not acceptable. I made a vbscript that they can click on and it applies the proxy settings and then open up IE by calling a .bat file but of course it leaves that annoying cmd window until you close it. Is there a way to open up IE in the vbscript? I am a complete noob when it comes to vbscripting.
