Board Stats for June/July 2009

JUL '09: 1,470 registrations, 6,685 new topics, 74,682 replies, 2,888 PM's sent and 2,583,852 topic views.

JUN '09: 3,462 registrations, 6,181 new topics, 75,175 replies, 4,535 PM's sent and 2,970,678 topic views.

June's PM stats are off the scale because some dinlo managed to rack up the count to 1842 PM's on June 2nd. The registrations are also unusually high for the beginning of June due to the competition we held around that time (which required registration) 1887 people signed up between the 1st and 3rd.

Other stats look average, but Rappy's absence from the board in the month of July appears to reflect this in the figures!

Edit, the competition required people to register and PM to enter a prize draw at the start of June.. my bad :p

Can you please provide a 6 month (picture) graph (or there-abouts)

It would make it a lot easier to see the difference

M2Ys4U usually does them.

The numbers are still pretty good, especially when you take into account that a) July is a vacation month and b) Rappy was AWOL for a while. The daily averages are still a lot higher than they were at the beginning of the year.

Also, take a look at the traffic details on Alexa.com for Neowin:

Looks like a steady upwards trend to me.

Thanks, I like Alexa.com, mainly due to seeing the comparisons to other sites

My biggest interest is Thread creations and Thread views

I would think that the most important (for Neowin) would be new member registrations (but not for me)

We average at around 50 registrations per day, consistently over the past few years.
